I came into Carfix for a routine safety inspection. What I got was the best car repair experience in my life. Normally the process of negotiating car repairs is not an enjoyable one, but it certainly was enjoyable for me with Carfix. It ended up that my car was in need for many repairs. But Tim explained in great detail what each needed repair was and which I should prioritize based on his expertise. Tim took meticulous care to make sure I understood all of my options. It was very evident to me that Tim and all his coworkers had a deep and intimate understanding of how cars work and how to fix them in the best way possible. But even more important than that they had a genuine desire to provide to the customer the best deal possible according to his or her needs. Tim was very courteous and careful not to pressure me in any way so as to make sure I was the one making my own decisions about my own car. And then they were able to make all these valuable and much needed repairs on my car over the course of just a single day, even paying an Uber for me as my car was in the shop. Deep thanks to Tim, who was calm, asked questions, listened, and clearly stated how my problem could be quickly/easily solved -- and happily for me my car was fixed and ready to go exactly as promised. My Honda is such a great car it’s never a problem unless I run over something, which I did, and the lower engine cover got loose and rattled at 50+ MPH. Of course, it happened the night before I needed to leave for a beach trip the next day to celebrate an important family birthday. I got online with Google Maps and there were OVER 20 auto repair places nearby! How would I know they could work me in if I showed up first thing the next day? “BOOK NOW” was an option on a small % of places, including CarFix, who, YES, had a first-thing-in-the-morning opening and I grabbed it. CarFix immediately sent me a confirmation email. BOOK NOW is a HUGE HELP and I’m glad CarFix made that feature easy and that it worked so well. Their location was easy to find. Tim’s calm way of helping me and providing precise information about procedure and cost helped me not to stress, but to be assured. Two and half hours into a road trip to Colorado, my car broke down. The team at Carfix was amazing in helping me get back on the road. Tim was extremely helpful in explaining everything and finding me a hotel for the night in a town I don't know. John was more than willing to drive my 2 dogs, daughter and me to the hotel and find the parts needed to fix my car as fast as possible. And Dave worked his magic in record time to get the broken parts off and new parts on. Although? Carfix isn't the cheapest shop, I can honestly say they care about their customers and will go out of their way to make sure your experience with them is a good one! Thank you everyone who got us back on the road and all the extras you put into helping me. This is a car shop I would recommend time and time again.

I had an awesome experience! I made two appointments with these guys, for an inspection and for brake fluid replacement, and both times I was out within an hour! Thank you Dave for being able to work so quickly on my car! Definitely took the stress off my shoulders, and for a less expensive price than other places. I don't know a tremendous amount about cars, but Tim was able to bring me up to speed and really made me feel informed and comfortable leaving my car in their hands. 10/10

Great group of guys that work at the Hillsborough location in Raleigh. They are very professional and precise with their work and with customers. I give them a 10/10 and I will definitely do business with them again in the future. I went in for front brakes and rotors on my dodge durango and the did an amazing job. They're parts are far better than the one's I recently had from the dealership and they come with a great warranty.
